Grow up

If you follow Mercedes Benz on any social media platform, you probably saw one of their “Grow Up” campaign posts.

I like the ad but I don’t understand the message they are trying to deliver. It seems they are trying to appeal to youngsters with the main campaign ad ending with the call to action “Drive”.

I think most of the people in same age group of those appearing in the ad cannot afford a Mercedes. So what are we trying to achieve here?

Grow up, learn about autonomous cars, order an Uber, or take public transportation.
